My William S. Reagan (Ragan) was born in NC or Tenn. I'm not sure yet. The census states both. William was born around 1813. He married Sarah Griffin in Williamson Co. Tenn. They had a number of children. The three older children were born in Williamson. See 1840 census William Ragan or Ragen in Maury Co. ( I think that Maury was Williamson first.) After that they moved Hickman where the family is shown on the census records. 1850,1860,1870. Some of our Reagan's moved to Dryersburg, Tenn.
Looking at some of your information. Is it possiable that William S. Ragan could be a great grandson of your Thomas Ragan? Thank you, Karen Reagan McGriff
