You can look up death records in this index, but then you have to order the record from the city or state, last time I checked it was about 22.00.

There is a birth index at the same site, but it only goes to 1909. Also, some births may not have been registered if they occured at home. You might try putting a query on this board asking for obits for Clementine and Edward, after you get the exact dates from the death index.
