Looking for my ancestor, HENRY M. TOPHAM. He was living in Louisiana in 1860 at age 45, according to that year's census. Lived there until his death, sometime before the 1870 census.
Henry was born around 1812 in New York, New York. I think he was in Louisiana in 1841 when his fist child with wife Uranie Broussard was born. Would any reader with access to the 1820, 1830, 1840 census be so kind as to have a look for him? Thanks in advance - Nancy
