Yes, thanks for this heads up. There is a lot of suspect data floating around. Most people don't take the time to throughly vet the info they come across. And many people lie about info. My great grandmother (Bertha Dinner/Schwartz) has a different birth year on every single census!

Where did you find that Obit? Can you point me to it? I doubt my William had anyone to write an obit for him but the death year is a match for the SSI death date for a William Schwartz who died in Flushing Queens.

There is also an incomplete tree for a "Willian Schwartz" with the same SSI birth/death dates (1936 & 2007), where it looks like there is a misspelling of the first name. I reached out to the owner, who might be a child of his, but have yet to receive a response.
