Hi all,
After searching intensively for my ancestor, I finally found him (under a misspelled last name). However, this is all the information I could get from Ancestry's "New York County Supreme Court Naturalization Petition Index" database:
Name: Sam (Samuel) Zurang
Address: 56 Willett St
Date: 4 Oct 1917
Page #: 173
I guess I'm confused because I am used to seeing a Soundex card whenever I find a relative's naturalization index. Is that Soundex card what this information is pointing to? If so, how do I get to it? I would like to go to NARA and request copies of his naturalization papers, but I seriously doubt this alone is enough information for them to pull the papers.
What do I do with this information?
Thanks all in advance, and Merry Christmas/Happy New Year!
