Hi,

I am looking for the marriage of my g,aunt.Her name was

Mabel Horne born Cardiff,Wales,UKK in 1893. She married Wilbur P Brown born NY around 1887.

I think the marriage may have been around 1918-1923.

I have searched UKK records and cannot find a marriage so am presuming it took place in America(NY).

Would be grateful for any help.

I totally forgot I had posted the question about Mabel(2006)DOH!!thanks for reminding me.

The reason I think that Mabel married in NY, is that I found Mabel and her husband Wibur in the Ellis Island records.
They arrived in NY from the UKK in 1924,and their address was 1454 University Ave,New York.I believe they had a child Sylvia or Shirley around 1927.

It may be that the Mabel Brown in the 2006 answers is my g,aunt,and she moved to California in later years.Still a bit of research to do.

I have now found the marriage for Wilbur and Mabel--they were married in Glasgow,Scotland in 1920!!!

Wilbur's residence is given as SS Alineda which was docked at Rothesay,Clydebank.
