REWARD!! (My eternal gratitude) REWARD leading to the capture of the following people:
Margaret BRYSON married William LIVINGSTON 5 Dec, 1859 in Warsaw, Wyoming County. Margaret died 16 Nov 1860, leaving an infant daughter. There are BRYSONS buried in the Varysburg Cemeter, according to Doris Bannister's Varysburg Cemetery page. I have a quote from an undated Warsaw Tribune obituary that gives a birthdate of 9 apr 1839 for Margaret. I would very much like to find out more about her family, can anyone out there help me?
William's sister, Jane LIVINGSTON, married William CARSON IN Warsaw, Wyoming County sometime after 1854 when they emigrated from Ireland. My information said that they farmed near W Bethany, but I don't find a West Bethany-only an East Bethany, in Genessee county. Jane lived to the age of 87, which tells me she was born in 1834. I have no further information on William and Jane (LIVINGSTON) CARSON.
Ellen ROWAN was brought to Wyoming Co, NY in 1848 when her brother Thomas (Tommy) rescued her from a family she had been 'bound' to. William married Ellen 'Nellie' ROWAN 22 July 1861, in Wyoming County, NY, 9 months after Margaret BRYSON'S death. They moved to Lyon's Co, IA in 1863, where her brother Tommy was living, eventually settling in Illinois.
William was my great grandfather, and I have quite a bit on him. I have nothing on his sister Jane, and her husband William CARSON; and nothing on his first wife, Margaret BRYSON.
The story is so intriguing, I'd dearly love to know more about Tommy ROWAN, who rescued his sister--and Wm's 2nd wife Ellen--who I surmise was a bondservant.
Can anyone tell me anything about any of these people? Can anyone give me somewhere to look?
