I'm looking for someone to help me locate a marriage record for my great-great grandparents. They both came separately from Ireland around 1847 and were married in New York (specific location in the state unknown).

They are documented as living in Genesee Falls from at least 1860 (census) to 1864 (Civil War records). I don't know when they first moved to the area but the family moved to Wisconsin around 1865 when he was discharged.

On the 1900 census, they recorded their marriage as 1850 in New York state and the earliest birth I have for any of their sons is 1855 in New York state.

So I'm looking for a marriage record for:
- John McDermott
- Catherine (Katherine) [Saul*]
- Between 1847 - 1855
And it could be a civil record, or possibly in the local Catholic church records. At least, I presume Catholic as they're buried in a Catholic cemetery in Wisconsin.

*I have her last name as Saul, based on a Wisconsin local history book. The entry for this family in that same book has at least one error in it, so I'm not 100% convinced that Saul is her maiden name.
