The Elisha Bentley of 1830 Middlebury, Genesee Co.,NY has been a puzzle to me. The only possibility I know is Elisha Bentley b.1782 who married in 1811 Phebe Sturges Bentley, the widow of his brother, John T. Bentley.
Do you know the names of any children of Elisha?
The Elisha who m. Phebe has a daughter Phebe Amanda Bentley who m. in Rochester, NY Converse Dyer
