The photo below is a postcard of Buttermilk Hill. I know Buttermilk Hill is the hill near the County Police Headquarters and the Hawthorne Circle. I am trying to determine perspective of this photo. I am guessing we are looking west from the area of downtown Hawthorne. If I am correct, what is that building on top of the hill on the left? It surely is not present today. Was there a building on the Rockefeller Estate that has since been torn down?
