I need some quick asistance. I sent to Roscommon for the birht certificate of my wife's grandmother and they got it wrong. She was Margaret McLaughlin, born 31 Dec 1888 (I think)in Cloonfree, Stroketown. Her parents were Martin and Bridget (O'Gara) McLaughlin. She emmigrated to USA, Philadelphia, in 1904 (I think). Her parents stayed in Stroketown. The Office of the Registrar General sent me information on a Margaret McLaughlin from Frenchpaek, Castlerea. He has the parents as Mathew and Bridget (McGrath) McLaughlin.
I need to firmly establish her identity so my wife can claim dual citizenship. Can anyone assist?
