i have my family's bible which originally belonged to Margery Secor who married Benjamin Valentine. Many entries to bible but hard to connect.
Entry for death of Joseph Gedney Underhill of 21 Feb 1827. Believe Joseph's parents were Gilbert Underhill and Phebe Gedney.
Joseph married Mary Drake 23 Jun 1823 (entry in bible).
I believe Mary is daug of Rebecca Valentine and John Drake m.8 Nov 1796 St Peter's Church, Westchester (entry in bible).
Rebecca daug of Margery Secor (d. 4 Sep 1827-entry in bible)and Benjamin Valentine.

Gilbert Underhill was born March 20, 1763 and died August 11, 1843 in Eastchester, Westchester County NY. He was the son of Mary Dean and William Underhill. He married Phebe Gedney, daughter of Absalom Gedney and Patience Barnes. She was born in 1761 and died May 8, 1840. My connection with the Underhill's comes from Deborah Underhill (4/30/1767-1/7/1848), Gilbert's sister, who married James Secor (8/1/1768 - 8/8/1835). Deborah and James Secor's daughter, Harriet (born Scarsdale, NY 11/7/1800 and died 8/31 1887), married Secor Washburn (b. 6/9/1805 d. 10/15/1833). Harriet and Secor Wasburn had a daughter, Sarah Ann (b. 11/27/1828, d. 6/10/1900) who married Dudley Rossiter Terrett (b. 11/13/1811, d. 11/27/1875). I am related to the Terrett's through Dudley's brother, Horatio, who is my great grandfather. Hope this helps.

I would be very interested in any more enteries in your family bible that reference the Drake family in Westchester Co. and/or else where. Trying to sort out the three known Drake lines in Westchester Co., NY and surrounding area.
