3rd great grandmother Margaret L Neal was born in Rose, Wayne, NY on 5 Jul 1824. She was also married there to George Fairbanks on 21 Apr 1845. Her parents have always been known to my family as John Neal and Eunice Richison. Tonight I found the death information for Eunice, and back-tracking through censuses, her husband's name was LEVI not John. Levi and Eunice were in Rose in 1830, and Huron in 1840. By 1850 they'd moved to Bedford, Calhoun, MI where they resided until their deaths in the 1870s. So far I know of 5 children: Melinda Jane b 1822, married William Miner; Margaret L. b. 5 Jul 1824 m. George Forris Fairbanks 21 Apr 1845 in Rose; Harriet (1830), Charles (1833), and William (1836) were all born in NY and were living with their parents in 1850 census at Bedford.

Levi was born abt 1790 in CT; Eunice [Richeson/Richison/Richardson] was born 1798 in VT, NH, or ME, depending on the resource you're looking at. Her father's name was given as Joseph Richeson on her death information. I believe Levi came from Litchfield Co., CT (1820 census) and so would have left there shortly after the census in order to have met/married Eunice and had Melinda, if they weren't already married and she was their first.
