Seeking information about members of the Rowland family in the Town of Huron, Wayne County, New York. Possible family groups may be Seth Rowland, born about 1814 in New York, wife Caroline C. born about 1825. Children in this family are A. O. born about 1843 (or Oscar A.), Josephine, born about 1846, and Aaron F. born about 1848. This information comes from the 1850 Federal Census.

Just guessing from this census information, it is possible that Seth's mother was Mary, born about 1791, and that some of his siblings were Rufus, Martin, Reuben, and James.

I believe that Seth died sometime soon after this census and that wife Caroline moved to Vermont where she married Timothy Colby. Caroline (aka Cordelia?) died 20 January 1857 in Muskegon County, Michigan.
