I've done more research on Hattie and found some interesting things. Her father's father Henry Taylor, was supposedly born in 1801 in Virginia, now West Virginia, and his son Henry Jacob, Hattie's father, was nicknamed "Fish". I got the Fish part from a news article about his wife and other daughter Emma Taylor Link. I've also seen on Ancestry a claim that Henry Sr. was full blooded Indian. Have you heard of this before?
Also, I found a photo on Ebay, looks like it was taken around 1880 in Auburn, NY of George and Hattie Taylor! I've done numerous searches and there were surprisingly few George Taylors in the area, and fewer still associated with the name Hattie. I'm not sure it's Hattie and her brother George, but there is a chance. If ywant to see it I will send you a copy. Lastly, do you know of any association with the Lund family? The back of the photo says "George and Hattie Taylor" and below that in a different color ink is written "cousins of Grandma Lund"
Regards, Ellie
