Reuben Martin married Laura Sweat (daughter of John Sweat & Abigail Hovey) and had children Reuben, Jr b 1837; Emma b 1840; Laura Jenette b 1847; and Henry D b 1849. In the 1850 and 1860 census, they're in Fort Ann (different locations); 1870 they're in Granville and by 1880 Reuben is still in Granville, however with what seems to be a 2nd wife (Emeline) and only daughter Emma @40 still home. Have been UNABLE TO LOCATE THE BURAIL of Laura Sweat Martin or Reuben with any of the resources that I have.
