I'm not sure if we have the same ancestors, but if so, I do have some information. Samuel and Anson are not directly in my line, but there were a group of relatives (cousins, etc) who lived in the Washington County area. Two of the cousins, Simon and Israel, bought land in Pittsford NY. They were joined by a number of relatives from this area. They moved to Pittsford (then known as Northfield) about 1790.

Not sure if it helps, but if this is your group, I also have a book which outlines a lot of the genealogy of the family descended from Simon Stone of Great Bromley, England. A second Stone family were the descendents of Gregory Stone.
