I am trying to trace Cassie(Elizabeth)who was born in 1888 in Essex, England she emigrated to the USA in 1907 and we believe she married twice and may be buried in Danby Rural cemetery but have no proof of this. Any help in tracing a marriage or grave we would really appreciate.

I believe this is my husband's grandmother. To our knowledge she was married once to Ralph Hodges, sometime before 1916. If you have information about a prior marriage we would be interested in this. They are burried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Spencer, New York, Tioga County. Spencer is close to Danby where they lived for many years before moving to Main St. in Spencer.
