In the matter of proving the Last Will and Testament of
Betsey Quinn
Deceased.
An Instrument, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Betsey Quinn bearing date the 15th day of July in the year 18--, was produce in court and shown to each of the persons sworn as witnesses, as hereinafter mentioned.
William [?]. [?] of the town of Groton, in the county of Tompkins being first duly sworn, deposeth and saith, that he was acquainted with the above mentioned Betsey Quinn deceased, in her lifetime; that he saw the said Betsey Quinn deceased, subscribe at the end thereof, the instrument now shown to this deponent, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of the said Betsey Quinn and above described; that he heard the said Betsey Quinn declare the same to be her last Will and Testament; that this deponent subscribed his name as a witness thereto in the presence and at the request of the said Betsey Quinn that the said Betsey Quinn was at the time, in the opinion and belief of this deponent, of sound mind and memory, and not under any restraint; and that she was about 62 years of age; that she died on or about the 25th day of August in the year 1883, and was a resident of the town of Groton in the county of Tompkins at the time of her death.

Said Last Will and Testament is in the words and figures following, to wit:
In the Name of God, Amen. I, Betsy Quinn of the town of Groton on the County of Tompkins and State of N.Y. being of sound mind and memory, and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make, ordain publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament, that is to say:
First __ After all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary E. Quinn all my household property including beds and bedding.
Second I give and bequeath to my husband Redmond Quinn the use of my other estate real and personal during his natural life and after his demise to be equally divided between all my children share and share alike.
Likewise, I make, c [?] and appoint William E. Mount to be executor of this my Last will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made..
In Witness Whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal the 15th day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred and

In the same matter: on this third day of August 1885 of the Citation heretofore issued in the matter, requiring the proper persons to appear in this Court on the 3rd day of August A.D. 1885, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, and attend the probate of the Last Will and Testament of Betsy Quinn, late of the town of Groton in the county of Tompkins, and State of New York, deceased, and Redmond Quinn, the husband of said Betsy Quinn, and a Legate [?] named in her will, and the petitioner [?] in this matter having appeared in support of the probate of the said Last Will and Testament, no one contesting said probate, and after hearing the proofs and allegations of the said petitioner and duly deliberation thereon; It is adjudged and decreed, the Last Will and Testament was duly executed; that the same is genuine and valid; and that the said Betsey Quinn deceased, was at the time of executing the same, in all respects competent to make a Last Will and Testament, and to devise Real Estate, and was not under any restraint. And this Court doth further order and decree, that the said Last Will and Testament be admitted to Probate, and that the same be and hereby is established as a Will relating to Real and Personal Estate.
