Did you ever find any info on your Charles Eaton? I have found out since then that my Alonzo Ward Eaton was married in that town to Abagail Knickerbocker. He named one of his sons Charles Albert Eaton who is my grandfather. But wasn't born til late 1877 in Butler Michigan, Branch Co. Wonder if we aren't still related somehow.
