Hello everyone,

I'm working on trying to locate the birthplace of my third great-grandfather, Levi Scott. His family (father: Jacob Scott, mother: Mary Joscelyn and two younger brothers) were living in Rockland in 1860, according to the census record I found. I believe his mother, Mary also lived in Rockland in 1850 with her family but have been unable to verify that is her family I found in the census. So, with this assumption that the family was likely in Rockland during 1854 when my third great-grandfather was born, I was wondering what churches were in the Rockland area that they may have gone to? I don't know their religious affiliation. I'm hoping to find a baptism record for him or his younger siblings: Winfred, Napoleon, Clara, George and Anna--all born in New York between 1854 and 1866.
