I have finally found some information on Augustus Buntz/Bunz. On the 1850 US Fed census, his last name is spelled Bouse. If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of his gravesite, I would appreciate if you would contact me. I believe he died in Sullivan County, NY. Thank you for your kind attention.

Perhaps you'll find his gravesite in Callicoon, Sullivan County. August Jacob Buntz (*1806 in Nabern, Germany) must have died before 1860. His wife Jacobina (*1808) is listed in the 1860 Census for Callicoon as member of her son's Michael (1838-1916) household, with incorrect spelling "Bence", however.
