My great grandmother, Lillian Jackson had a sister (There were 14 siblings), Dora Basheba Jackson who married Winslow Forbes, they had three children that I know of, Ellen,William and a third boy who died young (I think) and is buried with his maternal grandparents, Nathaniel Davis Jackson and Sarah Adeline Hand behind the Methodist church in East Quogue(Sarah is one of Gideon's daughters, my great, great grandmother). Ellen married a Skinner and William married a Margaret ?. William had a daughter Helen that married Frederick Thode, my father's uncle (her second cousin)and they had one son, also Frederick, who died in 1999 without children. Who was your grandfather? I have been researching the tree for about 8 years now (when I can)and I have amassed quite a tree. I can trace us back to Thurston and Josiah Raynor in the late 1600's (although I don't have all of the paper trail I need for DAR.) It sounds like we are definitely related judging by the names you mentioned. Do you know anything about the Davis branch, it is of particular interest to my dad.
