I believe Louise Powers Stocum was my grandmother. I knew her as Louise Carpenter. My mother was Jean Stocum-Bowman. She had two brothers, Lloyd and William. My grandmother lived with us in Perry until my mother died of a heart attack on March 8, 1979. She then moved with Lloyd in Hornell and passed away a couple of years later in a nursing home.
