I'm also a Shay descendant - 3x great granddaughter of Ruth Ann Shay, sister of Bars Lil Shay. Ruth Ann's family has been a complete mystery for my family, especially for myself and my wonderful aunt-we've spent A LOT of time trying to locate the Shay family and have sent countless emails between the two of us to genealogical societies, etc.
