I have posted a biography of Lodovicus Cobes at my website www.nancylanni.com He married Aeltje (Alida) Pieterse Van Couwenhoven, acknowledged daughter of Pieters Wolfertse Van Couwenhoven and Maria du Trieux. He served as Court Messenger in Beverwyck; Notary Public and Secretary of Albany, 1668; and finally became schout and Secretary of Schenectady in 1677
