Hi Susan,
Would you know if this William C.Owen had an older brother named Armenius Qwen, he was born 19 Sep 1802 in Saratoga Co., NHY. He died in Holly, Oakland Co., Michigan on 11 Sep 1879. His wife was Almira Unk, she died 08 May 1862 in Manchester, Washtenaw Co., Michigan, born about 02 Jul 1809also in NY. They and their son William C. Owen who was in the Civil War and died in Riga, Lenawee Co., Michigan on 24 Sep 1864, are buried in Oak Grove Cemetery in Manchester, Washtenaw Co., Michigan. I am not related to the family but am researching them becuase they had 5 sons in the Civil War. In additionto son addition to William C. Owen, 4 of his brothers, namely James A. Owen, James A. Owen, Joseph Frank Owen and Charles Wesley Owenm were also in the Civil War and these 4 survived. Armenius and Almira had 11 children, in addition to the 5 sons in the civil war, they also had a son Henry born in aboug 1851, and 5 daughters. I am workig on the Owen Civil War veterans. I can supply dates of birth and some death dates of the other 4 Civil War brothers, and some info on the 5 sisters. I have seen the name Armenius spelled several different ways
Thanks
