I am looking for any information on John Rand b 11/7/1794 VT d: 8/22/1873 in Waddington NY. I believe that John Pomeroy Rand is his son. Find a Grave website has both listed as well as spouses being buried in Brookside Cemetery. The 1840 and 1850 Census has John in Madrid NY. 1860 Census has them both in Waddington NY. Both were Blacksmiths.

Anything you may have will be helpful. I am trying to determine if John Rand is the son of Robert and Emma Averill Rand. The birthdate is right on the nose and place of birth would be Westminster VT.
