Lakeland Fla.- Grace L. Conroy Compson, 66, of Union Drive, Lakeland, Fla., died May 3, 1985, in DeSota, IL. She was born in Saranac on Sept 21, 1918, the daughter of Reuben and Carrie Woodruff Lord. She was married to Martin Conroy, who died in 1966. In 1968, she married Ralph Compson who died March 6 1985. Mrs Compson lived in Saranac until 1978, when she moved to Lakeland, Fla. She had lived there until her recent illness in December, when she went to live with her daughter in DeSota, IL. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lee (Joyce) Perrotte of Morrisonville and Mrs. James (Joan) Pribble of DeSota, IL.; six grandchildren; Mike, Brad, and John Perrotte, all of Morrisonville, Lori Perotte Allen of Cadyville and Colleen Pribble, both of DeSota, IL.; five great-grandchildren; one brother, James Lord of Baltimore, MD; a cousin, Hilda Oliver of Saranac; and an uncle Frank Woodruff of Watertown. A memorial service will be held at Saranac Methodist church today at 1 pm with Rev. Richard Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Saranac Methodist cemetery.
