I am looking for information on the Mettro Brown Family. He was my Grandmother Josephine Kendall McShane's first cousin. He was born May 23, 1893 in Wilkes County, NC and moved as a young adult to Staten Island, NY. The rest of his family remained in NC. He married in Staten Island, Agusta (I do not know her maiden name) and had a daughter Lenoir Brown who was 7 years old in the 1930 census. They were living in Household 823 in the 1930 census. Mettro died in Sept. 1968 in Staten Island. I remember visiting them as a child in the early 1940's on visits to New York. But I am sorry to say we lost touch in the past 50 years. Any information on this family or on their daughter Lenoir would be appreciated.
