you have to separate the parts of your request
John w/1 Doe and Washington County

John w/1 Doe and 1877 - but remember every obit does not contain the year and every page of a newspaper does not contain the year. Often an obit will say "so and so died last tuesday evening" or sometimes the name/issue/date of a newspaper will spread across two pages, so only 50% of the pages have the year.
