Obituary of Edna Elizabeth Phillips
Edna Phillips
TROY - Mrs. Edna Elizabeth Phillips, 87, of Fourth Avenue, died Friday at St. Mary's Hospital after a short illness.
Born in Troy, Mrs. Phillips was educated in Troy schools and at Catholic Central High School.
She was employed at the Swan Knit Mills in Cohoes for 10 years. Earlier, she worked at O'Brien Manufacturing.
Mrs. Phillips was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church in Lansingburgh.
Survivors include her husband, James A. Phillips; two daughters, Mary Ann "Marion" Beaudoin of Clifton Park and Carol Spin of Malta; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Thursday at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, 115th Street and Fourth Avenue, Lansingburgh, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 at St. Augustine's Church.
Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
