I apologize, I misled you.The Joshua's I am referring to are definately the same ones you are talking about. Yes, it is the War of 1812. I have a copy of the article published which I got from the Historical Society regarding the first murder. I have traced my Rogers so far: Joshua Sr. b 1783, Joshua Jr. b. 1796 mar. Fanny Hildreth, Benjamin mar. Eunice Orvis, Amos mar. Sylvia Slate (Civil War and ended in Mass) I have land warrants for both Joshua's saying Jr. being born in Rensallear.
