Does anyone have any definitive information about the Acacia Cemetery in Ozone Park? I have two death certificates from Philadelphia frm 1929 and 1934 that indicate burials in an Acacia "Park" Cemetery. An obituary for the earlier one indicate the individual was buried in Brooklyn but the closest Acacia Cemetery is the one in Ozone Park.
It is unlikely this couple was Jewish although a Google search points to the cemetery being operated as a Jewish cemetery.
Could someone tell me this was always a Jewish cemetery or does it incorporate non-Jewish areas to it? Is it a combination now of what was once non-denominational cemeteries under one auspices?
Thank you for your assistance.
