There is a lady named Jennie (nee Woronowicz) Jackowska who was born March 28, 1901 in New Jersey and who died January 1, 1984 in Whitestone, NY at age 83. Last name is sometimes alternately spelled as Jackowski or Jakowski. Is there anyone who could help me find an obituary notice (I have already checked the online Queens newspaper databases and I could not find this particular name listed anywhere) or any other source where I could find out her address during the 1980's (is there a local library or county library that would have city phone books from this time period)? I'm trying to find out if she has any surviving family or the name of her husband and/or children, if any. She may have previously lived in Woodmere, NY (Nassau County) in 1982.
