Who was the Judge of Putnam county around 1843?

Hello :) hoping to get some help in trying to find the name of a Judge of Putnam County, back in 1843, he belonged to a Baptist Church described as "just out side of town (Carmel)" the church had a change of ministers (1842)and not long after he decided the church needed an awakening, It was described as "Great numbers of people professed coversion" this included the Judges youngest Son and an Indian teenager who was indentured on the Judges cattle farm. They were baptised in a large pond outside the village.
