I am looking for information on the family of Moses Newell and wife Mahitable. Settled in Amboy, Oswego, NY between 1820 and 1830. Prior to that they were in Butternuts, Otsego, NY. They had a son Almon and possibly, Isaac Newell and Jacob Newell and possibly daughters Rachel, Sybil, Lois, Mary, Prudence and Lucinda. All would have been born in Otsego Co., probably Butternuts between 1799 and 1819. Almon (sometimes Almond) married Olive Comstock about 1829. She was the daughter of Thomas Comstock of Williamstown, Oswego, NY. They had children in Amboy: Elliot Alfred, Orris, Cealey Harmon, and Sarah Olive between 1830 and 1844. Almon and Olive left Amboy between 1841 and 1845.
