I am seeking the parents or theories of parentage/ancestry for Charles McHarvey, Sr., the husband of Amplias Jones. It is said that he died in the Oswego River either right before or after his son Charles Jr. was born, but I've never read anything about where he came from or who his parents might be.

There's quite a bit of information about their descendants and Amplias' ancestry (Mayflower), but nothing on Charles McHarvey, Sr.
