FREDERICK ADKINS IS DEAD IN OSWEGO AFTER BRIEF ILLNESS 1941

Oswego, Feb 4-Frederick Anson Adkins, 90, died this morning at the family home, 138 W. 4th Street, after a brief illness. His wife, the late Carrie E. Adkins, died two years ago. At that time, Mr. and Mrs. Adkins had been married 58 years.

Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Edwin and Elvina Gardner Adkins. He was the oldest member of the West Baptist Church where he had been connected with the music department all his life. He was a member of the brotherhood society of the church.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. George A. Dave, Oswego; three sons, Fred L. Adkins of Syracuse, Herbert W., Milwaukee, Wis. and Robinson E. of Washington, D.C,
