A cousin just sent me a family record, part of which reads:
Amos IRISH and Susan HUMPHREY lived near Brockport, NY.

Amos IRISH was married three times. In the 1855 NY State Census, Amos, his third wife Susan (McDONALD), and his two sons, Adelbert and Reuben, are living with the family of Henry UMPHREY.

Was Susan HUMPHREY a daughter of Henry HUMPHREY (1800-1884) and his wife Elsie POLLY (1807-1885)?

I would love to hear from anyone researching the HUMPHREY or POLLY families.
