I found this on fultonhisstory.com, not sure if it is who you are looking for;
"John F. McIvor of Oaks Corners, 21 years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward McIvor, was killed instantly when a motor truck which he was driving was struck by New York Central train No. 9 on the Auburn line at the Carter road crossing, one mile east of Oaks Corners. Josseph Barrtlett, twenty years old, of Natural Bridge, who was riding in the truck with McIvor, was injured seriously in the crash and was taken to Clifton Springs sanitarium."
There is no date or name of the paper shown, but they list it as Naples NY News 1924-1925.
