Hoping to learn more about William SANFORD, who arrived from NJ in 1810 to (then) OntarioCo with his parents, who settled on the Porter Tract, Town of Mendon, NY, near Honeoye Falls.

There is information about William's three other NY siblings, but I only recently found information in an c1880 Diary written by his nephew, that he had died intestate 1 Nov 1859, but no place of death was given, but that he 'had a large file'. A search of the Monroe County records, found no such file - so it is no longer there.

Does anyone have any suggestions to find this one last part of my family? Thank you for your ideas. Patricia
