I am researching the NEWELL Family line. I turn to you because it is my
understanding that John NEWELL lived in Onondaga Co (Marcellus I
believe)and that his son Oliver was born there. in 1780.
Roswell, one of his other children , and wife are buried at Shepards
Shepards Settlement. John had ccome from Dudley MA. I don't know when.
He was married to Mary Willard and Hannah Grant Wilcox. I don't know if
either of them ever were in Onondaga Co. or not.

It may be that several of Oliver's children were born in Onondaga also.
