I have a hand written article from the Onondaga Standard in 1841, it states that alcoholic beverages should not be given to Anson Johnson, he has a court appointed guardian, Michael C Walker looking out for him.
I find this interesting, one of my ancestors, my great great great grandfather, was named Anson S Johnson. By 1841 he and his wife were living in Harmony, Chautauqua County, perhaps it was his uncle?
I am curious if anyone has anything on the Onondaga Standard, something tells me to look into this document.
