I need a key element to my genealogical research on the BERNSTEIN family.

Dudley BERNSTEIN, age 53, a single man, was an inmate in the Central Islip State Hospital in Suffolk County on the 1930 census. He had a history of mental illness. I believe he remained at the hospital until his death. Because of privacy concerns, the hospital will not reveal his date of death. Accordingly, I need, and would greatly appreciate, a lookup in the New York State Death Index.

Dudley was born 27 Nov 1886 in New York City. He was listed as Julius on the 1900 census, but subsequent records refer to him as Dudley. I regret that I cannot estimate a year of death. The 1930 census is the last record I have for him.

In return for the lookup, I am willing to do a commensurate amount of genealogical research.
