Seeking to obtain information and to share on Thomas Kirwan and his wife Mary and their descendents.

On the 1900 Census Thomas Kirwan was in Towanda, Bradford County, PA with his wife, Mary, and children, Angla and Margrett. Thomas was born in Pennsylvania and his wife was born in NY. On the 1910 Census they are still in Towanda with children Angela, Margaret, Joseph, and Eugene. His occupation is Merchant-Groceries. His WWI Draft Registration Card of 1918 has them still in Towanda and occupation of Grocer-Self Employed. His birth date is given as July 4, 1873.

Now in the 1920 Census they are in Niagara Falls, NY with children Angela, Marguerite, Joseph, Eugene, and Thomas, Jr. His occupation is listed as Grocery Store Manager. Angela at age 22 is working in a factory, Marguerite is working as a Clerk in a Grocery Store, and Eugene is working as a painter. In the 1930 Census, they are still in Niagara Falls, he is working as the Manager of a Grocery Store, Angela at age 31 is working as a Book Keeper for a Trust Bank. Joseph and Thomas still there but Marguerite and Eugene are not there. Thomas lived for 94 years until August 1967. I don't belive their daughter All five of the children were born in Pennsylvania and went to NY with their parents. Marguerite may have become a nun or at least their is a nun by the name Marguerite Kirwan. I don't belive Angela married or had children since at the time of her death, she was still going by the name of Kirwan.
