I just happened across your post.

I am descended from the Briggses buried at the Briggs/Union cemetery in Livonia. Been about 15 years or so since I have visited the cemetery. It was my understanding that the City of Livonia owned the property (having purchased it from the church/theatrical group located there) and were planning to "develop" the property.

Anyway, Pardon & Betsy Briggs are my gggggrandparents through their son, John Pardon Briggs.

You indicated you have some pics.Would love to see them at your convenience. I have a few myself including Pardon Briggs, his sons (both as young and another as older men) and their wives.

If you can put me in contact with anyone else doing research on this family, I would appreciate it very much.
