I need some help with NYC addresses:
Wcela, Joseph h520 Fifth - 1878 Brooklyn or Manhattan
Wcela, Jos photographs 28 cooper square w. Where in Greenwich Village? Trying to find this person in the 1910-1940 census. He is not listed with other family members, I have found. He shows up in the 1911 New York City Directory living at the same place as other family members, but I haven't determined how he is related. This same joseph Wcela has the following address:
1911-1928 28 Cooper Square
1931-1933 86E 10th Brooklyn or Manhattan?
1944- b 65 4th avenue stuyusnt 9-8153 and 1948 65 4th ave. GRmrcy 3-8153 (I'm using the 1944 address for the 1940 census but there are too many possibilites.) Even narrowing it down.
Antonia Bobek-421E. 81st Manhattan or Brooklyn?
Fanny Vcelova: April 1898 Address: 435 & 73st Brooklyn?
Fanny Vcelova with sister Antonia Vcela. 155w 208st-October 1898-Bronx? Antonia Bobek and Antonia Vcela are the same person. Vcela is her maiden name. Vcela-male. Vcelova-Female.
any help would be appreciated. Any good websites for 1875-1900 maps.
