My family lived in Queens, but my uncle who had TB was admitted to Seaview Hospital in Staten Island. If you can't find your relative anywhere else you might check there. It was apparently state of the art medicine there for that time period as someone pointed out to me. My uncle was there in 1920 on the census. Most patients also worked there so you would see them all listed as "inmates" and jobs such as porter, or laundry.
