Hello,
I am trying to find the crime/reason for a conviction that occurred in Montgomery County on May 8, 1917, which resulted in a 120-day conviction for Thomas Kenny McDevitt, who was sent to Albany Co Penitentiary, and then subsequently pardoned on June 4, 1917, ostensibly in conjunction with his registration for the draft for WWI.
The Albany Co pardon report states that the conviction was for : Violation article 1990, Penal Code.
Can anyone point me in the direction where I can find out for which crime was the conviction ?
Thanks,
